Exchanges & Returns
Exchanges and returns are only available for faulty items or if we have made a mistake with your order. This applies to sale items also.
How do I return a faulty item?
If your think your Smateria bag is faulty, please email us within three days of receiving the item, and include a photo if the fault is visible. This helps us to determine whether there is a genuine fault with your bag, or whether there is a naturally occurring (and so acceptable) variation in the netting, plastic or vinyl.
If we accept there is a fault, you will need to repackage your item in the original packaging and send it to us at PO Box 108, Tairua.
You are responsible for the product until it reaches us, as we do not accept responsibility for packages we do not post ourselves. All return shipping costs are to be paid by you. We will contact you to confirm once we have received your goods and will repair or replace the item, or provide you with a refund within 5 days of our receipt of it, as per your preference.
If your item is faulty or does not correspond with the item presented on www.smateria.co.nz you may choose to return it, or exchange it. If the item is faulty we will refund you the postage costs of returning the item to us, as well as the cost of getting you your replacement item.
How long does a refund take?
Once your item has been received by us we will refund you the purchase price in the same form as the original payment was made, within five working days. You will be notified via email when this transaction has taken place. Please note that your bank may require additional days to process and post this transaction to your account once they have received the information from www.smateria.co.nz, so please check with them first!
